Dr. Michael L. McAllister opened McAllister's Veterinary Service located in Salisbury,MD in 1986. In building his own practice one of Dr. McAllister's fundamental goals is to provide a low stress environment for patients, owners, and staff. In veterinary medicine we are concerned with stress caused by surgical pain, infectious disease, endocrine disease, immune mediated disease, organ failure, trauma, bone and joint disease, and cancer to name a few.  It is our goal to provide a stress  free, disease free life for our patients through preventative medicine, early detection and treatment of disease, and attention to pain and discomfort, in an environment that is pleasant for our patients and their families.
